Coronado Island
Surrounded by crystal waters and sugar-white beaches tucked into rocky coves, Coronado Island affords opprtunities for snorkelling, nature walking, bird watching, or just loafing in the sun and sand. This old volcano hosts a colony of sea lions, an intersting assortment of reptiles, many birds, and tropical fish beyond counting. Dolphins, whales, and jumping manta rays are often sighted from shore or when traveling to and from the island over about six miles of usually calm and clear water.
